Rancorn Wildman Architects was commissioned by Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., to design a new corporate headquarters on the same site as the existing headquarters building, which continues to be used as office space and a showroom. The resulting three-story facility was designed using a combination of brick, pre-cast concrete, and glass, and provided space for corporate and administrative staff as well as an extensive training center.

The company's rapid growth over the next decade required an additional expansion to the Ferguson campus in Newport News. Ferguson executives turned again to RWA for a new, five-story office building on the same site, designed to complement the existing brick and pre-cast buildings. The headquarters expansion houses Ferguson Enterprises departmental staff on the first three floors, while the remaining two floors were initially leased to other tenants.
