The design of the Hampton Public Library consciously references the predominantly Victorian homes in its immediate neighborhood. The contemporary red brick building features two copper-capped turrets, rounded windows, a slate roof, and white trim, all borrowed from design elements common in the "Little England" historic district of Hampton.
