The Fine Arts Center at Virginia Commonwealth University was designed as part of the urban campus' master site plan. The building occupies a prominent position at the intersection of two major streets and serves as a connector between the existing campus and a major new expansion along Richmond's Broad Street. The three-story, 115,000 square foot Center successfully reinforces a distinct campus architectural style with the drama expected of a fine arts facility, while providing functional spaces for all programmatic requirements. |
